To play back your messages from the

base station

When you have new messages the

ON/OFF button flashes to indicate you

have new messages. Your handset

display also shows the following

symbols

NB. The is only shown if the calls

list is set to “Answer all calls.”

• Press the PLAY button. Your new

messages are played first, followed by

any old messages.

During playback you have a number of

options available:

• Press the

–

or + buttons to adjust the

volume.

• Press the STOP button to stop or

pause playback. Press again to resume.

• Press the button to skip back to

the beginning of the message.

Or press it twice to skip to the

previous message.

• Press the to skip forward to the

next message. Or press again to skip

to following messages.

• Press the RECORD button to mark a

message as “new”, ie, unplayed.

• Press the STOP button twice to end

playback.

To delete individual messages

You can delete individual messages as

required.

• Press the PLAY button to begin

playback.

• Press the DELETE button during

the message you want to delete.

• The message is deleted.

To delete all messages

You can also delete all your messages

when your answering machine is in

standby:

• Press the DELETE button.

• Press the button within 6 seconds.

The voice says “Press skip back to confirm.”

Either

• Press the button again to confirm.

Your messages are deleted.

• Cancel deletion by pressing the

STOP button. Your answering machine

returns to standby and your messages

are saved.

To record a memo from the

base station

You can use the handset to record a

memo message for other people using

your Diverse 3016.

• Press the RECORD button.

The handset rings.

• Press the GREEN PHONE button and

record your memo after the beep.

• To stop recording, either press the

STOP button at the base or the RED

PHONE

button on the handset.

Recording will stop automatically if you

pause for longer than 8 seconds when

recording your memo.
