• There are 3 speed lev els for disc types other than D VD disc: x2, x4 and x8.
• Press pla y to resume the pla yback at normal speed.
REPEA T (RPT/M3)
User can press the “repeat”(RPT/M3) button to r epeat the whole disc or a specific
track/chapter of the disc. Press r epeat button to switch between diff erent r epeat
modes.
• When repeat button is pressed repeatedl y , the LCD will displa y “r epeat T01” for
repeat pla y of the curr ent title, “repeat C01” for repeat pla y curr ent chapter .
TITLE (RDM/M4)
While the D VD disc is being pla yed, the function of “title”(RDM/M4) button on the
control panel serves the following functions:
• Short press “title” button to recall the D VD menu, r oot or title contained on the
DVD disc during D VD pla yback. Pr ess “title” again to resume pla yback.
When pla ying a multi-format disc or a audio CD , press “title” button to switch among
the 3 option pages of music, photo and movie.
Please refer to the r elated description in “multi-format disc operation for detail operation.
During the pla yback the D VD menu, r oot or title of the disc, the below buttons on
the control panel serve the following functions:
•Volume up/down button as cursor right/left to move the highlight in the D VD menu,
root or title.
• Track up/down button as cursor right/left to move the highlight in the D VD menu,
root or title.
• Audio button as enter to confirm the selected item in the D VD menu, root or title.
DVD AUDIO (M6)
When the D VD disc is being pla yed, the function of “D VD audio”(M6) button on the
control panel serve the following functions:
• The selection of audio language and audio output which are available on the cur rent
DVD disc is being pla yed. Each time pr essing the “D VD audio” will switch to another
audio language and audio output available in the disc.
• When “D VD audio” is pr essed repeatedl y , the LCD will displa y “D VD audio 01”.
The number of “D VD audio” display on the LCD is depending on ho w many audio
language and audio output are a vailable for selection.
• The selected language and the digital audio output will be shown on the top left
corner of the TFT monitor .
OSD (AS/PS)
During D VD pla yback, the function of “OSD”(AS/PS) button on the control panel
serves the following functions:
• Short press “OSD”(AS/PS) button to bring up the console menu.
Please refer to the r elated description in “DVD basic operation r emote control” f or
details operation of “ODS”.
The console function/ menu is only a vailable in D VD/D VD audio/ D VD-VR/ VCD
discs, and the a vailable console function ma y differ depending on the type of disc.
The “OSD menu” will be display ed on LCD and sta y for 10 seconds. User has 10
seconds to adjust the OSD item on the TFT monitor . IF no selection is being made
within the 10 seconds time out, the unit will r esume to previous mode. User can also
press AS/PS button for quick return to the pr evious mode without waiting the 10
seconds time out. Under the “OSD” mode. The below buttons on the control panel
serve the below functions:
•Volume knob as cursor up/down to move the highlight bar on the TFT monitor
• Track up/down button as cusor right/left to move the highlight bar on the TFT
monitor .
• Audio button as enter to confirm the selected item on the TFT monitor .
SET UP (AS/PS)
While the D VD disc is being pla yed or under stop mode, the “set up”(AS/PS) button
on the control panel serve the following function:
• Long press “set up”(AS/PS) button to bring up the system setup menu.
Please refer to the r elated description in “DVD basic operation r emote control” f or
details operation of “set up”.
After pressing the set up button, the LCD wil displa y “set up” and k eep on blinking.
User can use the following buttons to adjust the “set up” items shown on the TFT
monitor as following:
•Volume knob as cursor up/down to navigate thr ough the set up items shown on the
TFT monitor .
• Track up/down button as cursor left/right/previous/select to na vigate thr ough the set
up items shown on the TFT monitor .
• Short press “set up” button again or “pla y” button to r esume the D VD pla yback.
Before entering the item, the system will r equest y ou to input the passwor d first. The
default passwor d of this unit is 1234. After the passwor d is entered corr ectly , the
parental contr ol rating level can be changed.
If you didn’ t set any pass word f or parental contr ol, the system will r equest you to
input a new passw ord.
If you mak e a mistake bef ore pr essing enter , press clear and enter your 4-digit
passwor d again.
After the new passw ord is entered successfull y , press down/ up to change the parental
control rating le vel. Including the unlock le vel, ther e ar e a total of 9 levels in the
parental contr ol rating.
The parental contr ol function is only valid after the disc is ejected. Operation can be
performed following the par ental lock setting.
The passwor d item is used to set the new passw ord or change the old passw ord.
Before y ou enter into the item, the system will r equest you to input the old passw ord
first. The default passw ord of this unit is 1234. The ne w passwor d can not be entered
unless the old passwor d has been entered.

D VD OPERA TION - CONTROL P ANEL
Once a D VD disc is inserted into the unit, the unit will automatically start the
pla yback from the beginning of the disc, and then the D VD MENU , R OOT or TITLE in
the D VD disc will appear on the TFT monitor and R OO T will be display ed on the lcd
of the unit.
DVD MENU
During pla yback the D VD menu, Root or Title of the disc, the belo w buttons of the
control panel serve the following functions:
•Volume knob as cursor up/down to move the highlight in the D VD men u, Root or Title .
• Track up/ track down button as cursor right/left to move the highlight in the D VD
Menu, Root or Title.
• Audio button as enter to confirm the selected item in the D VD menu, Root or Title.
PLA Y/P A USE (/M1)
During pla yback the D VD menu or root ot the disc, user can short press the
“pla y”(M1) button to confirm the selected item in the D VD menu, r oot or title. Once
the D VD disc pla yback started the LCD will display T01C01 0:00:03 (the curr ent
pla yback of: Title: Cha pter : playback time). When the D VD disc is playing, the pla y
button on the control panel serves the following function:
• Play: pr ess pla y to r esume the disc playback when the unit is in “stop” mode. The
last position pla y function will be started if the unit is under the resume stop
mode.
• Pause: pause the disc pla yback that is currentl y being play ed.
ST OP (/M2)
When the D VD disc is pla ying, the “stop”(M2) button on the control panel serves the
following functions:
• Stop the current disc pla yback. Pr ess the stop button to enter into resume stop
mode. Press pla y under the resume stop mode to r esume the pla yback from the
position where y ou stopped the playback pr eviously .
• Press stop button two times to enter into the clear stop mode. Under the clear
stop mode, if the pla y button is pressed, the disc will r esume the pla yback from the
beginning of the disc.
NEXT ( )
When the next button is pressed, the unit wil automaticall y jump to the next
chapther or track and start the playback.
BACK ( )
When the back button is pressed, the unit will automaticall y go back to the last
chapter or track and start the playback.
FAST FOR W ARD/ F AST BA CKW ARD ( / )
When press the button or the
button under the pla y mode, the unit will start the fast forward or rewind.
The unit can fast forward or r ewind discs at differ ent speeds.
• Pressing repeatedl y the button or the button, can give diff erent fast forwar d or
rewind speeds. There ar e 4 speed lev els for D VD discs in FWD/REW mode: x2, x4
and x16.
