17 INFORMATION FOR THE

CORRECT DISPOSAL OF

ELECTRICAL AND ELECT-

RONIC APPLIANCES

At the end of its working life,

the product must not be

disposed of as urban waste.

It must be taken to a special

local authority differentiated

waste collection centre or to a dealer

providing this service. Disposing of a

household appliance separately avoids

possible negative consequences for the

environment and health deriving from

inappropriate disposal and enables the

constituent materials to be recovered

to obtain significant savings in energy

and resources.

To remind you that you must collaborate

with a selective collection scheme, the

symbol shown appears on the product

warning you not to dispose of it in

traditional refuse containers.

connecting pin.

high: Open rotary switch “Hot

water / Steam” to position .

Remove brewing unit and clean,

open the brewing unit before

cleaning. To do this, turn on the

black toothed cone.

- Air in the system: Take some hot

water.

switched on?

- Mains plug unplugged: Insert

mains plug.

- Service door not closed: Insert

brewing unit and close the

service door.

- Brewing unit not inserted: Insert

brewing unit and close the

service door.

• … Water in the coffee grounds

container?

- During every rinsing process,

water gets into the coffee

grounds container: None (for

technical reasons)

- Preceding abortion of coffee

making, for example due to

insufficient water level: Check

water tank for sufficient water

level prior to each use.
