Fitting
the
portable

saw
in

Warning:

Place guide unit upside down "Basis Plus"
(Fig.5).
- Lock connecting
rod
in
rear position.
- Turn the support lor the portable circular saw
lully
up with the crank

- Open rotary knob (6.6) and swivel support to a
45° position with the handle (6.2).
- Unscrew locking bolt (7.3) and unscrew rotary
knob (8.2).
- Inset portable circular saw
as
shown
in
Figure
6.
The pin (7.2) must
be
inserted into the groove

bolt (10.2).
Warning:
Tighten bolt lirmly!
The protective cover support has the same lunction
as
the riving knife. Warning: II the machine is once
again used as a portable circular saw its riving knile
must be re-litted.

Inserting
the
working
module
or
trim
saw
module
into
the
"Basis
Plus"
base
unit
- Turn the two countersunk screws
(11.3)
anti-
clockwise so that the screw slot
is
in the direction
of
sawing.

- Lock connecting rod in rear position.
- Insert guide unit as shown
in
Figure
11.
Hold the
guide by the pulling handle
and
in
the groove
(11.2).
Make sure that the connecting
rod
fits into
the groove
(11.5)

- Lock guide unit
by
rotating both countersunk
screws

in a clockwise direction
by
90°.
- Screw
in
bolt
(11.4)
until it rests against
the
trans-
verse section. This prevents the guide plate lrom
sagging.

Fitting

protective
cover
- Unscrew rotary knob (12.2).

Place protective cover on protective cover sup-
port

and tighten with rotary knob

the
bore

).
6 Electrical
connections
and
starting
Warning: The mains voltage must
be
identical
to
that
specilied
on
the portable circular saw's ratings plate.
Plug the portable circular saw's connecting cable
into the socket (2.4)

The push switch has a green button (4.6)

neutral circuit breaker to ensure that the saw does

A switch guard

on without authorisation. The switch cover can
be secured with a padlock.

Adjusting
the
saw
Warning: adjustments to the saw may only
be
car-
ried out when the tool is switched off and the saw
blade
is
at a standstill!
Lock the connecting
rod
in
the front position when
adjusting the
saw.
7.1
Cutting
depth
The saw's cutting depth is adjusted with the crank
handle (14.4) The set cutting depth can be
measu-
red
at the saw blade. Recommended setting: cutting
depth

workpiece thickness + 2
to
5 mm.
7.2 Bevel
cuts
Release the rotary knob
(14.1)
and set the desired
angle with the adjusting wheel (14.3)
to
swivel the
saw blade. The angle can be read off on the scale
(14.2) on the left edge

Adjusting

swivel
device
The swivel device is adjusted
in
the works. Read·
justment is however possible with the two Allen
screws

on the side.

Adjusting
the
drawgear
The support
lor
the portable circular saw
is
set
in
the
works
so
that it is parallel to the drawgear. However,
it
can
be
correct with the two screws (10.3).
