Decoder or satellite receiver/set-top box
In order for the television to receive encoded programs from a privately
operated station, a decoder is needed.
Connecting a decoder or satellite receiver/set-top box
1 Connect the »SCART 1« or »SCART 2« socket on the television set and the
appropriate socket on the decoder, satellite receiver or set top-box using a
EURO-AV cable.
Setting the channel position for a decoder
1 Press »i« to open the main menu.
2 Select »Inputs/PIP« with »P+« or »P-« and confirm with »Ƿ«.
3 Select »Main input« using »P+« or »P-« and using »Ǹ« or »Ƿ« select
»SCART 1« or »SCART 2« (depending on which socket the decoder is
connected to).
4 Select »Main input settings« with »P+« or »P-« and confirm with »Ƿ«.
5 Select »TV SCART« with »P+« or »P-« and select »Decoder« with »Ƿ«.
6 Press »i« to finish the settings.
Use with a decoder/satellite receiver/set-top box
1 Turn on the decoder/satellite receiver/set top box and the television.
2 Select the channel position for the decoder/satellite receiver/set-top box,
then keep pressing »Z« until the message »Scart 1« or »Scart 2« appears.
