USING EXTERNAL DEVICES

Video recorder or DVD player
Connecting a video recorder or DVD player
1 Connect the socket of the television »SCART 1« or »SCART 2« and the
corresponding socket of the video recorder or the DVD player with a
EURO/AV (Scart) cable;
or
2 Connect the »S-VIDEO« socket of the television and the corresponding
sockets of the video recorder/DVD player with S-VHS cinch cables (video
signal).
Connect the white and red »LINE IN S-VIDEO« sockets on the television
and the corresponding sockets of the video recorder/DVD with a cinch cable
(audio signal);
or
3 Connect the cinch sockets »V U Y« of the television and the corresponding
sockets of the video recorder/DVD player with cinch cables (video signal).
Connect the white and red sockets »LINE IN CVBS/YUV« on the televi-
sion and the corresponding sockets of the video recorder/DVD with a cinch
cable (audio signal).
Note:
You can copy recordings via the television from one external device to
another by connecting the playback device to the »SCART 1« socket and
the recording device to the »SCART 2« socket, then selecting the »Scart 1«
channel. However, you will not be able to view a television channel.
