General safety instructions
The product matches the requirements of the EN
61000-3-11 standard and requires special connection
conditions. That means it cannot be used at optional
connecting points. If there are any unfavourable network
conditions the appliance can cause voltage spikes. The
product is explicitly intended to be used at connecting
points that a) do not exceed maximum admissible
network impedance of Zmax= 0,233 , or b) have long-
term network rating of at least 100 A for each phase. You,
as the user, must ensure (if necessary, after consultation
with the electric energy supplier) that the connecting
point on which you want to operate the appliance met
one of those two conditions a) or b).
The Operating Instructions need to be read carefully before
first use of the appliance. If there are any doubts concerning
the connection of handling of the appliance please contact the
producer (service department).
TO ENSURE HIGH SAFETY LEVEL PLEASE OBEY THE
FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS:
The pump is not suitable for long-term operation
(e.g. as a circulation pump in ponds or brooks). The
service life gets shorter accordingly if the pump is used
in this manner. In such a case, use a switching clock and
ensure sufficiently long breaks between the operating
cycles.
The pump must not be connected to the existing
water supply system as equipment increasing the
pressure.
The pump is not suitable as a long-term, automatic
safety against overflow of tanks and wells or for control
of underground water in cellars.
Do not leave the pump unattended to prevent
damage as a result of any faulty function. Always
disconnect the pump from network if not used.
The producer does not guarantee for any damage caused
by unqualified installation or unprofessional operation of
the pump.
The equipment must be regularly inspected and its
faultless condition needs to be checked.
Before each putting into operation, the pump must be
visually inspected for any damage (especially on the
power supply cable and plug). Using a damaged pump is
strictly prohibited
.
Attention: Appliance operation is only allowed
with an earth-leakage circuit-breaker (max. leakage
current of 30mA according to VDE regulation part 702).
Please ask a professional electrician.
The pump must in no case be used as a circulating pump
in pools.
The appliance is not designed to be used by persons with
limited physical, sensuous or mental abilities or persons with
insufficient experience and knowledge, except for cases when
these persons are supervised by a person responsible for
their safety or when they have been given instructions for
appliance use from such a person.
Keep all package material away from children. Risk of
suffocation!
Attention:
Always ensure optimum engine cooling. The
minimum distance of surrounding items from the air terminal
unit should be 40 cm. Never cover the pump or install it in a
tight pit. Ensure corresponding removal of heat generated by
pump operation.
The pump is not designed for pools. The wiring can only be
executed by a professional. The pump must be fitted with an
earth-leakage circuit-breaker.
Prevent the pump from running dry without water supply.
Failing which, you endanger its life and it can damage the
engine.
Never pack the pump head engine to a blanket or cloth to
prevent water freeze when the weather is cold.
Do not use the pump at outdoor temperatures above 40 °C or
below 0 °C and not in water warmer than 35 °C.
Never pump any other liquid than water.
Avoid water with sand contents that can damage the
sealing.
Before installing the pump and putting it into operation, please
read carefully the Operating Instructions and observe them.
To persons not familiarised with the pump operation it is
recommended to carefully read the pump Operating
Instructions before starting it and thus avoiding its damage.
The user in the workplace is responsible for any damage to
third parties.
It is allowed to operate the pump solely with a cable or rubber
extension of the H07RNF type, corresponding to DIN 57282
or DIN 57245 standards.
The pump must not be lifted and carried by pulling the electric
cable or fixed with an electric cable.
If the cable or plug becomes damaged as a result of external
influences you must not repair the cable yourself! The cable
needs to be replaced with a new one.
This work can only be executed by a professional electrician.
It is necessary to make sure the connectors of electric
sockets are protected against moisture and submersion.
Before using the appliance, please check that the connecting
cable and electric plugs are all right. Put the pump on a flat,
stable and horizontal surface.
Before any work on the pump, pull the plug out of socket.
As far as safety and installation of the appliance are
concerned, the user is responsible for observing the rules.
Before each use, execute a visual inspection of the appliance.
Do not use the appliance if safety equipment is damaged or
worn out. Never take the safety equipment out of service.
Use the appliance solely for purposes specified in the
Operating Instructions.
You are responsible for safety in the workplace.
If the pump is faulty have it repaired solely in authorised
services. It is allowed to use original spare parts only.
Prevent access to children with suitable measures.
Before putting the appliance into operation, a professional
must check that the appliance is fitted with the required
protective electric equipment.
No persons can be present in the pumped medium when the
pump is in operation.
Do not expose the pump to direct water stream.
The operator bears responsibility for observing local safety
regulations and provisions on appliance installation (if
necessary, contact a professional electrician).
The operator must with suitable measures prevent indirect
damages as a result of room submersion if the home pumping
station is faulty (e.g. installation of alarm, spare pump, etc.).
The pump must never run dry. The producer's guarantee
does not relate to damages caused by dry operation of the
pump.
