lares 4.0 PROGRAMMING MANUAL

Device association
In this section, the zones are associated to the terminals of the main board or to one of the boards (wired, wireless and
the respective terminals) previously programmed in the BUS sections or wireless device sections.
The available items are:
1. Select the device type.
This menu identifies the type of the device to which the zone will be associated.
• lares: "m1" and "m2" terminals of the lares 4.0.
• auxi: all terminals on the expansion board. Not valid for auxi10!
• auxi relè/auxi-L: all terminals of the auxiliary relay expansion board.
• ergo-rev.0/ergo: "m1" and "m2" terminals of the ergo keypads. Not available for ergoS and ergoM.
• duo: "m1" and "m2" terminals of the duo repeaters. Not available if duo is programmed as a repeater.
• radius: it is possible to associate the output to the LED and to the buzzer, or only to the LED.
• imago: it is possible to associate the output to the main LED and to the buzzer, or only to the main LED or only to the
additional LEDs (generally used to signal the arming status of the system).
• auxiwls: "o1" and "o2" terminals of the wireless auxi.
• imago wls: it is possible to associate the output to the main LED and to the buzzer, or only to the main LED or only to
the additional LEDs (generally used to signal the arming status of the system).
N.B.: If imago wls is powered by connecting a non-rechargeable battery (KSI7207580.000), the outputs will be
managed regardless of the configuration made in this way:
• Alarm Output: monostable with ON time equal to the maximum alarm time established in the phase of programming
(default: 3 min.);
• Power LED Output: monostable with maximum ON time equal to 30 seconds;
• Aux LED Output: monostable with maximum ON time equal to 30 seconds; this operating mode is used to save the
battery life.
If the wireless imago is powered by a 12Vdc external power supply and a rechargeable Pb battery, the outputs are
managed as instructed in their programming.
• virtual: with respect to the traditional lares platform, software timers are no longer present, but these have been
replaced by virtual outputs, combined with "output activation" and "output deactivation" events. A virtual output is
not associated with any device.
2. Select the device.
In this menu, the single device belonging to the group of devices previously selected at point No. 1 is selected. This option
is not always available (e.g. if the output is associated with lares board).
Example: An output associated with "m1" terminal of an auxi expansion (e.g. auxi cantina) is being configured. After
having programmed all the devices (page 20), select auxi, as described in point No. 1 of this section. Then select the
programmed device (auxi cantina) from the drop-down menu.
3. Select the terminal.
This menu allows to associate the zone to one of the device terminals. Only the available outputs are shown. If no
terminal is shown, it means that it will no longer be possible to exploit the outputs available for that device.
Mode
• Monostable: an output that is activated for a time programmed (ON time) when the event occurs and then
automatically returns to the resting status.
• Bistable: an output that pursues the status of the corresponding event or that can be activated by an event and
deactivated by another.
• Arming state: pursues the arming state of the partition (or partitions) to which it is associated. If the partition is armed,
the output activates and vice versa.
• Alarm: it is activated when the partition (or the partitions) associated with it generates an alarm. The ON time duration
is set in “Partitions” “cycle” (min).
• Tamper: it is activated when the partition (or the partitions) associated with it generates an event of tamper.
(The ON time duration is equal to the alarm cycle time of the partition)
• Alarm and tamper: it is activated when the partition (or the partitions) associated with it generates an alarm and
tamper event and is equal to the alarm cycle time of the partition
• Fault: it is activated when a fault occurs (e.g. faulty central battery). It is deactivated when the fault condition is
restored.
