It is necessary to follow a healthy and balanced diet and it becomes essential to follow

a therapeutic diet.

Toworknormallyhumanbodyneedstobenourishedregularly.

Drasticandunbalanceddietsnotincludingalltypesoffoodstuffsshouldbeabsolutelyavoided.Oneof

theessentialassumptionsforacorrectfeedingisthatitmeetstheenergyrequirementoftheinvolved

quitesurelysubjecttooverweight,aboveallifhe/shedoesnotcarryoutaproperphysicalactivity.

Shouldonebeunderweight,itisnecessarytoseekmedicaladviceandperformthecorrectamountof

physicalactivitysupportedconcurrentlybyavariedandbalanceddiet.

Always try to weigh food in order to take the right daily ration: taking too much or too few

quantities of a given type of food means following an unbalanced diet. In any case, it is

essential to remember that any change in terms of quality and quantity to one’s own diet,

especially if carried out for therapeutic purposes, must always be discussed and

established previously together with a doctor.

BATTERY INSTALLATION / REPLACEMENT

This scale operates with replaceable batteries.

1) Insertfour1,5VAAAalkalinebatteriesinthebatterycompartmentatthebottomofthescale,bearing

inmindthepolarityindicated.

2) Whenthebatteriesaredischargedthedisplaywillshoweither“LO”orthebatterysymbol.

Removethebatteriesifthescalearenottobeusedforaprolongedperiodoftime.

Removetherundownbatteriesbyliftingthecoverofthebatterycompartmentlocatedonthebottomof

thedevice.Extractthebatteriesanddisposethemasspecialwasteatthespecificcollectionpointsforecast

forrecycling.Formoreinformationaboutthedisposalofrundownbatteries,pleasecontacteitherthe

storewherethedevicecontainingthebatterieswaspurchased,ortheMunicipality,orthewastedisposal

local service.

Caution: For greater safety, children younger than 12 years should not remove the

batteries.

3) Perform the weighing.

4)Automaticswitching-offafter1minute,ifitisnotused.Toextendthebatterylifeduration,switchoff

thescalebypressingthe“ON/OFF/TARE”key.

removingtheonesalreadyweighed.

2) Weigh the first ingredient.

4) Weigh the second ingredient.

wronguse,negligenceorimproperuseoftheproduct.Usethesuppliedaccessoriesonly;theuseof

otheraccessoriesmayleadtowarrantyvoidness.

Donotopentheequipmentforanyreasonwhatsoever;incaseofopeningortamperingoftheequipment,

warrantydecaysdefinitively.Warrantydoesnotapplytopartssubjecttotearandwearalongtheuse,as

people, things and pets resulting from the inobservance of the provisions contained in the suitable user

manual,especiallywithreferencetothewarningsrelatedtoinstallation,useandmaintenanceofthe
