from your trailer will be transferredto your
vehicle. Consult this manual to determine how
this reduces theavailable cargo and luggage
load capacity of your vehicle.
%Not all vehicles are permitted to tow a trailer.
Towing a trailer is only permitted if a trailer-
hitch is installed. Please consult an authorized
Mercedes-Benz dealer if you have any ques-
tions about towing a trailer with your vehicle.
Even if you have calculated thetotal load carefully,
you should still make sure that the maximum per-
missible gross weight and the maximum gross
axle weight rating of your vehicle are not excee-
ded. Details can be found on thevehicle identi-
cation plate.
#Have your loaded vehicle – including driver,
occupants and load – weighed on a vehicle
weighbridge.
The measured values may not exceed the
maximum permissible values stated on the
vehicle identication plate.
