cue for the first time. Failure to observe the safety
instructions, warnings and precautionary measures
provided in this user guide may lead to serious or

Safety instructions
WARNING:
• Do not use any charcoal or barbecue lighters for this
barbecue. It could cause a dangerous electric shock.
Do not place any combustible materials such as
paper on the barbecue.
• The appliance must only be connected and operated
in accordance with the details on the model rating
plate.
• Do not use the appliance if the power cable, the
mains socket or the appliance show any sign of
damage. Check these every time before the appli-
ance is used.
• Always connect the heating element to the tempera-
ture control before you connect the power cable to
the mains socket. The «UP» symbol on the heating
element must be legible.
