Ingredients
200 g tofu
1 teaspoon sambal
1 clove garlic, pressed
4 tablespoons Japanese soy sauce
2 tablespoons orange juice
4 spring onions, cut into large pieces
2 tablespoons oil

Vegetarian main dish - Serves 2
1 Cut up the tofu into ½-inch cubes and pat dry. Make
a marinade of the sambal, garlic, soy sauce and orange
juice, add the tofu cubes and leave for at least 30 minutes.
2 Heat the grill to setting 4. Remove the tofu cubes from
the marinade, pat dry and skewer them, alternating with
the spring onions. Brush the skewers with oil and grill in
a closed grill (panini position) for 5-6 minutes until golden
brown. Serve the remaining marinade as a dip. Lovely with
rice and stir-fried bok choi.
Total preparation time 45 minutes
(15 minutes + 30 minutes marinade)
TIP: Sprinkle some toasted sesame seeds over the skewers after grilling.
