The vents in the collection box may get blocked if the
box is not cleaned regularly. At regular intervals, clean
the collection box with water and let it dry out before
using the machine.
Keep the upper part of the engine in the place of the
starter clean. This will improve the air flow and
increase the engine life.
Cut in dry weather only.
Keep the blades sharp at all times.
Servicing and storing
IMPORTANT – Regular servicing is necessary for constant
operational reliability and maintaining the original machine
power.
1) Keep all screws and nuts tightened so that you can be
sure the machine is in an operationally reliable state.
Regular servicing is necessary to provide safety and
trouble-free operation.
2) Never store the machine with fuel inside in confined
spaces as evaporating fuel may get ignited.
3) Before storing the machine in confined spaces, it is
necessary to let it cool down and empty the fuel.
4) To minimise the risk of fire, keep the engine, exhaust
muffler and the fuel tank clean and with no sign of grass
and grease. Do not keep the cut grass together with the
mower.
5) For safety reasons, avoid using the machine with worn
out or damaged components. Replace any defective
components with new ones – do not repair them. Original
spare parts and accessory equipment to be used only.
Components of a quality other than that specified may
damage the machine and put your safety at risk.
6) Wear solid protective gloves when demounting and
adjusting the blades.
7) Check regularly the wear and pollution at the self-closing
cover and collection box.
8) Wear safety gloves whenever the machine needs to be
carried, held in hand or tilted.
9) Petrol must not remain in the fuel tank for more than 1
month. Clean the mower at regular intervals and store it
in a dry and locked room.
Always hold the machine in places ensuring safe holding.
Consider the mower weight and its distribution.
ENVIRONMENT
To protect environment, a special attention should be paid to
the following points:
Use common clean unleaded petrol.
Always use the funnel and/or can with level control to
prevent fuel from spilling when refuelling.
Do not fill the fuel tank up to the edge.
Make sure the motor oil does not get spilled.
When changing oil, make sure the used oil will be disposed
in accordance with applicable regulations. Avoid oil spilling.
Do not throw any old oil filters to municipal waste but
deliver them to an appropriate collection centre.
Replace the muffler if defective. Original spare parts to be
used for repairs.
Have the carburettor adjusted by an expert at all times.
Al all times, clean the filter as instructed.
After the mower life, we recommend returning the mower
to the dealer that will dispose it in accordance with
regulations.
Other safety instructions for lawn mowers
It is necessary to prevent the machine from being used
in poor weather conditions, when raining, in particular.
The machine has been designed for private purposes
only. It must not be used for public lawns, parks, sports
facilities, green refuges, in agriculture and forestry.
The machine needs to be used with as low revolutions
as possible.
Residual risks
Even if the machine is used professionally, there is still some
risk that cannot be eliminated.
The following potential risks may be derived from the type
and design of the machine:
putting the product accidentally in operation
Items thrown away by air flow
hearing damage if the specified ear protectors are not
used.
If instructions specified in the Operating Instructions
are not followed, there may be other residual risks as a result
of unauthorised use.
Marking:
B1: Please read the Operating Instructions and safety
instructions before putting the machine into operation and
follow them.
B2: Risk of injury by thrown-away items when the engine is
running. It is necessary to keep safe distance.
B3: Keep sufficient distance from the cutting blade when
operating the machine. Beware of sharp knife!
B4: Risk of explosion – refuel when the machine is switched
off only.
B5: Toxic exhaust fumes – machine to be used outdoors
only.
B6: Ear protectors and safety protective glasses to be used.
B7: Switch off the engine and disconnect the spark plug.
B8: Caution: hot surface – risk of burn
