1.2 MEANING OF EACH PART IN THE BOX

1. Seng buon: To enter the menu opons and acvate the download mode
2. Save buon:
i. Allows the user to manually add new locaons where from now on warnings will be given in driving
mode.
ii. Allows the user to manually delete locaons.
iii. The user’s preference for each opon can be set in seng mode.
3. Volume – buon: To decrease the volume.
4. Volume + buon: To increase the volume.
5. Red buon:
i. To de-acvate the Radar / Laser Detector once you access countries where the Radar / Laser
Detector is not allowed: press this buon briey (not longer than 2 sec.!). If you press this buon
too long, the device will set to ‘illuminaon’ mode and the Radar / Laser Detector will NOT be
switched o.
ii. To dim the display (long pressing, unl you see ILLU: xxx).

INSTALLATION IN THE CAR
2.1 DRIVE CONTROL
The QUINTEZZ DRIVE CONTROL is especially designed for use in the car. GPS signals are received through the built-in GPS antenna.
The following are some guidelines for mounng the detector :
• The unit may be posioned within 25° of horizontal without signicantly degrading performance.
• The informaon display of the DRIVE CONTROL has to be clearly visible to the driver.
• Do not mount directly behind windshield wipers.
