• Check the transmission of 433 MHz signal from the transmitter to the display unit
(transmission range 30 m free field). Within ferro-concrete rooms (basements,
superstructures), the received signal is naturally weakened.
• If necessary choose another position for transmitter and/or display unit.
• Is the transmission successfully, you can wall mount the transmitter by the hanging
hole.
8. Battery replacement
• When the batteries of the main unit or transmitter are used up, the low battery
icon appears beside the time display (main unit) or beside the temperature display
of the appropriate outdoor transmitter.
• If battery change happened on remote sensor side, then the base station must be
powered up again to relocate the transmitter.
• Use alkaline batteries only. Observe correct polarity. Low batteries should be
changed soon to avoid the damage resulting from a leaking battery. Batteries con-
tain harmful acids. Wear protective glasses and gloves when handling damaged
batteries.
Caution:
Please do not dispose of old electronic devices and empty batteries in household
waste. To protect the environment, take them to your retail store or to appropri-
ate collection sites according to national or local regulations.
9. Maintenance
• Keep it in a dry place.
• Do not expose the instrument to extreme temperatures, vibration or shock.
• Clean it with a soft damp cloth. Do not use solvents or scouring agents.
• Avoid placing the instrument near interference sources/metal frames such as com-
puter or TV sets.
• If the unit does not work properly, change the battery.
