Step 5: Select the preferred method of support
Choose the preferred method of support that is most suitable for your request:
Instructions concerning the different options in the "Preferred method of support"
There are 4 possible choices in the field "Preferred method of support":
1. None
2. Site visit by Alfen engineer
3. Return charger to Alfen for repair
4. Self-service based on Alfen advice
Option 1: None
Are you not yet sure which solution is preferred, or does none of the other options fit? Then choose 'None'.
Option 2: Site visit by Alfen engineer
Applicable in case you want to have an Alfen engineer to support on-site. Please note that costs might be charged for a site visit.
A site visit is possible in most European countries. In case a site visit is not possible, Alfen will contact you to discuss the alternatives.
Option 3: Return charger to Alfen for repair
If you want to offer the charging station for repair in the Alfen factory, please choose this option.
Alfen will share shipping instructions and an RMA number via e-mail to you (the reporter) and the "Location contact email".
Option 4: Self-service based on Alfen advice
If you want to solve the issue yourself with (phone-based) support or manuals from Alfen, please choose this option.
