ID3 INFORMA TION DISPLA Y
If any MP3 file is a vailable with ID3 T A G, the following ID3 information: Album title ->
T rack title -> Artist title will be displayed and automatically scr olling thr ough the displa y
while the file is pla ying.
Press button (10) “AS/PS” repeatedly to vie w the ID3 tag information manually .
IPOD OPERA TIONS
This unit is equipped with iPod Ready function. The user has dir ect contr ol of the iPod
on the front panel.

ABOUT VIDEO FILE
This unit can support iPod video displa y output feature, ho wev er it is NO T ABLE to
select any VIDEO FILE OR VIDEO ALBUM in the iPod video . This unit will only
automatically select a music album or file r egardless the connected video iPod last
pla ying is a video file or album. If you want to select and pla y a video file on the iP od
video, long pr ess “AS/PS” button for more than 3 seconds to de-activates the fr ont
panel control iP od feature. After the LCD displa y “iPod video”, the iP od now is
controllable and y ou can select the desired video file on iP od itself. Once selected a
video it will automatically displa y on the unit through the video output.
TURNING IPOD PO WER ON AND OFF
The iPod pow er turns automatically on when it is connected to the 30 Pin connector
and as long as the vehicle’ s ignition is turned ON. The iPod power can be turnde OFF
by removing the iP od from the 30 Pins connector or the v ehicle’ s ignition is turned OFF .
The iPod will go into the pause mode and g oes into sleep mode about 2 minutes later .
NO TE:While the iP od is connected, the power cannot be turned ON or OFF from the
iPod itself.
IPOD BA TTER Y CHARGING
The iPod will automatically start recharging as long as the v ehicle’ s ignition key is turned
to A CC or ON.
SWITCH T O IPOD MODE
When the Headunit is ON and the iPod is connected to the 30 pin connector , press
button (9) “MODE” to change to iPod mode and the unit will displa y “iPod” for a while.
The headunit will starts reading the music files on the iPod and the pla yback will
automatically start. Press button (9) “MODE” repeatedly to change to other modes or
switch back to iPod mode.
IPOD INFORMA TION ON THE HEADUNIT DISPLA Y
Press button (10) “AS/PS” repeatedly while the iP od song is pla ying, the unit will display:
Song -> Ar tist -> Album name -> Elapsed time
SEARCHING A DESIRE SONG
Press button (19) “BAND” to go into the iPod sear ching Mode. P ressing button (19)
“BAND” repeatedly to access the following sear ching methods: 1. Pla ylist -> 2. Artist
-> 3. Album -> 4. Song -> 5. Genr e
Press within 10 seconds button (8) to confirm and access the sear ching mode, then
rotate button (8) v olume knob to navigate thr ough the Album, Artist or Song list on the
iPod. Pr ess button (8) to confirm and pla y the selected song. Pr ess button (10) “AS/PS”
during the searching mode as quick mov e back to the last upper lev el of Album, Pla ylist,
Genre etc.
SONG SELECT
During iPod operations, pr ess button (20) “ ” for next track. Pr ess button (20)

• If r ear zone “R-zone” is selected, user has 10 seconds to navigate thr ough differ ent
modes by using the volume button.

• If no selection is being made within 5 seconds, the unit wil r esume to the pre vious
mode.
TO OPERA TE FUNCTION OF FRONT/ REAR SOURCES
• The fr ont panel and remote contr ol, is defaulted to contr ol the front sour ce’ s
function/ operation.
• When “dual zone” is turned “on”, the “mode” button is used to change between the
front sour ce and rear sour ce. Press mode button r epeatedly to change between
front and r ear mode.
• The LCD will displa y the r ear source mode for 10 seconds. User has 10 seconds to
make the operation on the r ear source’ s function on front panel or remote.
• The LCD displa y will automatically s witch back to the front sour ce after 10 seconds.
And the front panel and r emote now are r esumed to operate for fr ont source’ s
function again.
THE DEF AUL T SETTING WHEN DU AL ZONE IS “ON”
• When “dual zone” is turned on, the audio output will be muted f or about 1 second.
• The default sour ce / mode for fr ont zone is “tuner” and for rear zone is “DVD”
• The default v olume level is “12” for both fr ont and rear zone audio output. (Or the
volume lev el set as “VOL PGM” le vel set in the menu).
• The LCD displa y is defaulted to displa y the fr ont mode.
• When dual zone is “on”, some of the AUDIO FUNCTION WILL NO T BE
FUCTIONAL, THESE FUNCTION ARE: Bass/ tr eble/ middle/ balance/ fader/ sub-
woofer/ iX-bass/ 3D Gain.

• the default audio output rev erts to what the user selected for the “front zone’
source when dual zone is “on”. F or example: When the dual zone is “on”, user has
selected D VD for fr ont zone and tuner for rear zone. Once dual zone is turned “off ”,
audio output for all 4 speak ers become “DVD” mode.
CD OPERA TIONS
This CD pla yer is suitable for 12cm disc, do not use irr egular shaped CD .
SELECT TRACKS
During CD operations, pr ess button (20) “ ” for next track. Pr ess button (20)
“” for previous track. T racknumber shows on display .
During CD operation, hold button (20) “ ” for fast forwar d. Hold button (20)
“” for fast reverse. Cd will start fr om when you release the button.
PAUSE
Press button (12) “ ” to pause the CD pla yer . Press it again to r esume pla y .
REPEA T THE SAME TRACK
Press button (14) “RPT” to continuously r epeat the same track. Pr ess it again to stop repeat.
SCAN TRACKS
Press button (13) “INT” to pla y first several seconds of each track of cur rent CD . Pr ess
again to stop intro and listen to track.
PLA Y TRACKS IN RANDOM
Press button (15) “RDM” to pla y all tracks on CD in random or der . Pr ess again to cancel
the function.
EJECT
Press button (6) “ ” to stop pla ying and eject the CD .
PLA YING A CD-R/R W
Depending on the type of CD-R/R W CD , surface condition of the CD , as w ell as writer ,
certain CD-R/R W CD ma y not operate normally on this unit.
MP3 FUNCTION
How to select MP3 files
1. SEARCHING TRA CK NUMBER
Press button (19) BAND , the displa y sho ws “Number”. Rotate the volume knob (8) to
select the desired track number , press the volume knob (8) to confirm and the selected
track will be pla yed.
2. SEARCHING BY FOLDER/FILES
Press button (19) BAND twice, the display sho ws “Navigate”. Rotate the volume knob
(8) to navigate thr ough all folders and sub-folders on the disc. The f older names will be
displa yed. Press the volume knob (8) longer then 3 seconds to pla y the first track in the
folder . Press the volume knob (8) f or less then 3 seconds to access the sub-folders or
tracks. Rotate the v olume knob (8) to na vigate, then press the v olume knob to confirm
the sub-folder or the track begins to pla y . Pr ess button (10) AS/PS or rotate the volume
knob counterclockwise during na vigation sear ch to move back to the last upper le vel of
a folder .
3. NA VIGA TING THROUGH DIRECT OR Y BY USING PREVIOUS/NEXT FOLDER

Press next folder (M6) or pr evious folder (M5) buttons to skip in the cur rent directory

a multi-lev el directories CD , the movement will tak e place at the curr ent level until
last folder is reached. At this point pr ess pr evious folder (5) again, it will move to the next
level or dir ectory
