Adjusting the digital receiver to the television set
Specifying the video signal at the Euro AV output
You can choose »CVBS« (normal picture quality) or »RGB« (high
picture quality). The default setting is »RGB«.
1 Select the main menu item »Settings« with »VOL – a« or
»VOL + s« and press »OK« to confirm.
2 Select »Video Output« with »CH + A« or »CH – S« and
press »OK« to confirm.
3 Select »Signal Type« with »CH + A« or »CH – S« and
press »VOL – a« or »VOL + s« to change the setting.
4 Press »EXIT« three times to finish the setting.
Setting the screen format for the television
If you have a 4:3 format television or flat screen, select the »4:3«
setting. If you have a 16:9 format television or flat screen, select the
»16:9«.
You can also select the picture conversion »Letterbox«, »Pan&Scan«
(for 4:3) or »Auto« (for 16:9).
1 Select the main menu item »Settings« with »VOL – a« or
»VOL + s« and press »OK« to confirm.
2 Select »Video Output« with »CH + A« or »CH – S« and
press »OK« to confirm.
3 Select »TV Shape« with »CH + A« or »CH – S« and press
»VOL – a« or »VOL + s« to make the setting.
4 Select »Conversion« with »CH + A« or »CH – S« and
press »VOL – a« or »VOL + s« to change the setting.
5 Press »EXIT« three times to finish the setting.
Setting the colour norm for the television
1 Select the main menu item »Settings« with »VOL – a« or
»VOL + s« and press »OK« to confirm.
2 Select »Video Output« with »CH + A« or »CH – S« and
press »OK« to confirm.
3 Select »Standard« with »CH + A« or »CH – S« and press
»VOL – a« or »VOL + s« to make the setting.
– »PAL«: video signals are converted to PAL signals. »PAL« is
the default value.
– »Auto«: video signals are converted to PAL or NTSC signals.
4 Press »EXIT« three times to finish the setting.
