5.3 Setting the clock
Keep pressing the mode key until the clock symbol appears in the display. Then keep
the mode key pressed down for approx. 8 seconds until the hour display blinks. Then
press the mode key again to increase the hour value. When you have the hour value
desired keep the mode key pressed down for approx. 3 seconds, and the minute
display will start blinking. Repeat the pr ocess described above for the hour display
to set the minute value desired. To save the desired time setting, keep the mode key
pressed down for approx. 8 seconds.
You have now completed all y our settings and the bicycle computer is ready for use.
5.4 Bicycle computer check
To check that the bicycle computer and sensor have been correctly installed, press
the mode key to activate the display. Ensuring that the computer is fi rmly attached
to the computer mount, turn the front wheel of your bicycle and the speed will
be displayed.
5.5 Restar t /Reset
To reset entered and saved data, you ha ve to keep pressing the mode key until the
ODO display appears. Then keep the mode key pressed down for approx. 6 seconds,
and repeat the settings (refer to section 5.1).
5.6 Automatic star ting/stopping of readings
You don’t have to switch on the bicycle computer each time before use (in time
display). When you start r iding, all the readings will automatically star t until the
bicycle comes to rest. The bicycle computer will automatically switch to power saving
mode, if the bicycle is not in use for a period longer than 10 minutes.
6. MODES/FUNCTIONS
After st arting up t he bicycle computer, the display will show the speed and time.
Speed: is continuously calculated and updated, and shown in the upper par t of the
display. Measuring range: 0. 1 – 99.9
Press the mode key to switch between the following modes:
• DO (total distance travelled):
All kilometres (miles) tr avelled will be stored.
Maximum memory: 1 9,999.9
• MAX (maximum speed):
The maximum speed att ained will be stored.
Maximum memory: 1 99.9
• AVG (average speed)
Maximum memory: 99.9
The “ERR” symbol will appear , if TM exceeds 1 00 hrs or DST exceeds 1,000 km.
• The clock symbol (time)
• SCAN (Scan function):
R olling function display: keep pressing the mode key until y ou reach the SCAN
mode. The w ord SCAN will appear in the display. In this mode, the DST, time, TM,
A VG, MAX and ODO functions will automatically be displa yed in approx. 4
second intervals.
• TM (journey time / journey chronometer):
A utomatically star ted when journey begins.
Maximum memory: 1 9 hrs 59 min 59 sec
• DST (journey distance):
A utomatically star ted when journey begins.
Maximum memory: 999.9
6. 1 Resetting the route data (DS T, TM, A VG, MAX) to zero
Press the mode key to display (DST). Then press the mode key again and keep
pressed down for approx. 3 seconds. The 4 route data readings (journey dist ance,
journey time, average speed and maximum speed) will be reset to zero.
7 . REPLACING THE BA TTERIES
7 . 1 Bicycle computer
Unscrew the lid of the batter y compartment (located on t he underside of the bicycle
computer) using a coin. Insert t he battery so that t he plus pole (+) is visible. Replace
the lid and screw shut. After t he batteries are inser ted, all the settings must be
repeated (refer to section 5.2 Setting the tyre size).
10. W ARRANT Y PRO VISIONS
Bicycle computer article no.: 0526
This bicycle computer is provided with a 2-year warranty. The warranty period star ts
from the date of purchase (purchase receipt, proof of purchase). Dur ing the warranty
period, address any complaints you may have to your dealer or the service address
provided below. During this period we will correct free of charge all faults caused by
material defects or malfunctioning.
Batteries, defects caused by improper handling, a fall, impact and the like are
excluded from the warranty. Please note that the warranty period is not af fected by
any repair or replacement. The 2-year warranty period star ting from the purchase
date shall remain in effect.
After the war ranty period has expired, you will still be able to send the defective
bicycle computer to the service address provided below to be repaired. Any repairs
caused after the war ranty period has expired are, however, subject to charge. After
prior telephone contact, please send your properly packaged bicycle computer (with
your purchase receipt) with suffi cient post age to the following address:

5. INITIAL OPERA TION
We recommend that you fi rst carefully read the oper ating instructions, before using
the bicycle computer the fi r st time.
5. 1 Switching on the bicycle computer for the fi r st time
Before you can use the bicycle computer for the fi rs t time, you must make a few
settings. Insert t he battery (refer to section 7. 1). If the battery is already inser ted, or
you want to change any settings, press the reset key on the back of the computer.
This will automatically test the LCD segments. Press the mode key to end the test.
Now “KM/h” will blink. If you want to change to M/h press the mode key. Then keep
the mode key pressed down until the fi rs t digit for the tyre size setting blinks (refer
to table 5.2). You can now increase the number by briefl y pressing the mode key.
When the value you want appears, hold the mode key down – the next digit will
then star t blinking. Repeat this process until you have set all the numbers correctly.
You now have another opportunity to set kilometres or miles – briefl y press the
mode key to set miles. Keep the mode key pressed down for approx. 3 seconds to
save your setting.
5.2 Setting the tyre size
After inser ting the batter y (section 7 . 1) or changing the tyre size, you have to repeat
the procedure described in section 5.1.
Determining the tyre size: mark t he front tyre and the ground at the same spot, or
alternatively, use the valve for orientation. Rotate the wheel through one revolution
and measure the distance covered in cm. This is your entry value. Or alter natively ,
use the table below for orient ation.
8. DECLARATION OF CONF ORMIT Y
It is hereby confi rmed that the designated product confor ms to the fundamental

9. DESCRIPTION OF ERRORS
In the event of an error occurr ing, please check the following points fi rs t, before you
make any complaint about the bicycle computer.
Speed not displayed
• Check for correct magnet/sensor alignment
• Check batteries
• The display will not work if the batteries are too weak
Incorrect speed reading, or speed is displayed when not in motion,
or maximum speed display is too high
• Check that you have the right setting for the tyre size
• Check that you have the right km/miles setting
• Check that magnet and sensor are correctly positioned
• It is possible that unknown atmospheric or RF disturbances, atmospheric or
r adio interferences, high-voltage power lines, r ailway lines etc. may also cause
an incor rect speed display.
No display (blacked out)
Too high temperature, or display is exposed to direct sunlight. Displa y will return to
normal when cooled off.
Display shows erratic numbers
Remove bicycle computer battery and reinsert.
No display
• Check the batteries
• Check that the batteries are inser ted the right way round (+/-).
