Preparation of the game:
Take all the game material out of the box.
Put the game board in the centre of the table.
Place the counter without the satchel on the starting square with the
red border. The clock there shows exactly 7 o’clock in the morning, time
to get up!
Place the satchel on the square which shows the child putting on the
satchel. Only when the counter arrives there, can you put the satchel on.
Place the big cards face down, shuffle them and distribute them around
the game board.
Get the timetable ready.
Take the small cards and choose 4 of them. Place them on the numbers
(1 to 4) of the timetable: these are the four classes you have today.
The remaining small cards are returned to the box.
Prepare 4 sleepyhead cards face down in a pile. The remaining ones
are only needed for one of the variants and are returned to the box.
The hands of the big clock should be set on 7 o’clock.To check compare
it with the picture on the starting square.
Take a seat in front of the game board, so that everybody can clearly see
the clock face.
How to play:
Play in a clockwise direction. The youngest player starts.
The task is always to find the right card.
The card should show the same activity as the one shown on the square
ahead of the game counter.
Or the school subject which comes next according to the timetable.
Example 1:
The counter is on the starting square. So it’s the card with the child
getting dressed that has to be uncovered.
Example 2:
The counter stands on the square with the school bus. So it’s the school
subject shown on the first place on the timetable that has to be found.
Uncover one of the big cards and show it to everybody. Together you
check:
Does the card show the right picture?
Yes, it’s the same picture: Very good! You can take the card as a
reward and place it in front of you. Move the counter one square ahead.
Then it’s the turn of the next player.
No, there is another picture or a clock shown on the card.
If there is another activity or another school subject on the card
you have to return the card, place it face down and it’s the turn of the
next player.

How exciting a day can be! Once up and breakfasted, everybody does their
utmost to get to school on time.
But only those can keep their cool who have a good memory and are not
worried about time running out.
Contents:
1 game board with clock in the centre
1 timetable
26 big cards (4 can be decorated personally)
10 small cards (4 can be decorated personally)
7 round sleepyhead cards
1 counter with removable satchel
1 set of game instructions
Take a close look at the big and the small cards:
You can decorate the empty cards yourself:
Draw school subjects you have or you would like to have on the four small
empty cards, for example “sports” or “inventing stories”.
Also draw the same school subjects on the four big cards.
So you have your own individual school game.
Aim of the game:
Whoever has most big cards at the end of the school day in front of them,
wins the game.
But beware: If you are late too many times thus getting a lot of sleepyhead
cards, you will lose the game together.
